Aaron Jeffery
The Logie
Award-winning actor of New Zealand and Australia, Aaron C. Jeffery. He is best
known for his roles in Water Rats as Terry Watson, Alex Ryan and Matt Fletcher
as Matt Fletcher and Alex Ryan, both from McLeod's Daughters. Jeffery was born
in Auckland and moved to Australia as a teenager. He later trained in acting at
NIDA. After graduating in 1993 from NIDA the school, he began his career in
television on the children's show Ship to Shore. Jeffery is famous for his role
playing Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He departed the drama in 2008. He was
also part of the third season New Zealand drama Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery was
also seen as Frank in Underbelly: Badness. The filming ended on the 22nd of
June. Three days later, it was announced Jeffery had joined the crew of
Neighbours as Bradley Fox for two months. It was announced that Jeffery had
been cast in the role of an officer of corrections at Wentworth on October.
Bevan Lee's show Between Two Worlds starred Jeffery. In April of 2021, it was
revealed that Jeffery will appear in Pieces of Her, a Netflix thriller series
that was adapted from the Karin Slaughter book. As a result of his role in
McLeod's Daughters, Jeffery was awarded the Silver Logie for Most Popular Drama
Series actor in 2004 and 2007.
